We are seeking contributions from writers and artists.
Please send a brief pitch of what you plan to do to albertinewatson@gmail.com with the subject line “Heart Container Submission” We look forward to working with you.
Submission deadline for issue 02 is May 15, 2012.
We accept JPEGs, PSDs, INDDs, AIs, EPS files, .doc and .rtf files also. If you’re submitting JPEGs, make sure they’re 300dpi and in CMYK color space. The dimensions of the zine are 5.5x8.5” so keep that in mind too.
Include a short bio of yourself (200 words or less) as well so we can tell people who you are!
WRITERS
All contributions must have proper spelling and grammar. Submissions containing mistakes will not be considered for print. A simple spell check done on your computer isn’t good enough. Please proofread your work.
Features: Discussion of anything in gaming, with a focused angle. Can be in any form ranging from articles, reviews, poetry, fiction, non-fiction, etc.
Game Discussion: Standard components of reviews blended with free flow discussion. We accept articles written about any computer, console, handheld, or arcade game ever made.
Music Appreciation: Articles focused on a video game composer or soundtrack.
Other: Have an idea not listed here? Great! Email us at albertinewatson[at]gmail[dot]com and let us know what you’ve got. Chances are, it can be worked in.

Whatever your heart desires. Comic strips, character designs, cosplays, fan art, this is your chance to show us how creative you can be.
